I shall try tonight.
And keep you out of my thoughts.
Sleep maybe & dream a little too.
Lead a life less complicated.
Where people are not this faded.
A place where realness shines.
And the laughter stills the time.
A home I can distinctly call mine.
I shall try tonight
to start afresh,
the next day.
To wake up to feel belonged.
Not to anyone else but me.
A “me” that I seem to have left behind..,
In building the “us” that’s hard to find
A “me” that is longing to just be..
To break out & set free.
Amidst the chaotic music of the rut.
I shall try tonight.
To meet that “me” again.
And hold onto it tightly
For I want to keep that “me” forever entwined.
